How to root Lenovo Zuk Z2 & Zuk Z2 Pro With TWRP Recovery

How to root Lenovo Zuk Z2 & Install Recovery.
(Works with both Standard & Pro)

Lenovo Zuk Z2 is one of the known smartphone from lenovo mobiles.
This device comes with great specification such as Snapdragon 820 Powered Processor with 4GB RAM and Loaded 64GB Storage.Rooting this awesome device may unlock more awesome features which you known already if your looking for rooting thread but obvious.

well lets begin :)

Note: Rooting this device may void warranty so do it on your own risk.

Note: This method works with both Zuk Z2 & Zuk Z2 pro so  Download Proper Recovery File for your device do not try different recovery file.

Requirements & Downloads :

• Lenovo Device

• Working Windows PC

• ADB & Fastboot drivers.

• TWRP Recovery For Z2.

• TWRP Recovery For Z2Pro.

• SuperSu.zip ( Copy this file in your internal storage )

Steps:-

• Enable Developers Options from Settings>About phone>Tap Build No 4,5 times.

• Enable USB Debugging from developers options.

• Enable OEM Unlock.

• Install ADB Drivers in your PC & Place ADB folder on your desktop.

• Download your TWRP Recovery file for your device.

• Copy Recovery.img in ADB Folder which you have installed on your desktop.

• Go to ADB Folder & Press Shift+Right click & Select Open command window here option.

• Turn off your device to fastboot mode by pressing & holding Power + Vol Up.

• Connect your device to pc via USB Cable.

• Type following command in command window to check your device connected properly or not.

fastboot devices

• If you see some device code then your device is properly connected.

• Now Type following command to flash TWRP Recovery.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

• fastboot flash recovery is main like recovery.img is img file name if you rename .img file then write that name .img .

• That's it you've successfully installed TWRP Recovery on your Lenovo Device.

TWRP Recovery.

• Boot into recovery by pressing Power + Vol Down or Vol up down simultaneously.

• Now get the root access by flashing SuperSU.zip which you have downloaded & copied into internal storage.

• Go to TWRP Recovery Locate SuperSu.zip & Flash it Through Recovery.

• That's it.

• Install root checker to verify root access.
