How to Root Lenovo K6 Power & Install TWRP Recovery.

Lenovo K6 Power is one of the great smartphone from lenovo. it provides the beautiful 5.0 inches handy Full HD Screen with 1080x1920 Pixels, This device has 13MP Camera & Powered with Snapdragon 430 Processor with 3GB of RAM. The usual & main benefit of lenovo phones are their battery performance. Yes you heard right this device has 4000mAH Li-po Battery which is more then enough to run device whole day.

I'm going to show you how to root this device.

For rooting Lenovo K6 Power you need to follow 3 major steps carefully.

1. Bootloader Unlocking.
2. Installation of custom recovery.
3. Getting root access using Recovery.

i'll guide you step by step so just do follow carefully.

Requirements/Downloads

• Lenovo Device

• Working Windows PC

• Android M Unlock tool. ( For Bootloader Unlock )

• Lenovo USB Drivers.     ( For Bootloader Unlock )

• TWRP recovery             ( For installation of Recovery )

• SuperSu.zip                  ( Getting Root Access) (Copy this file to internal storage)

• ADB Drivers PC

Step 1:-  Bootloader unlocking.

• Enable Developers Option from Settings>About Phone Tap Build No. 5,6 times.

• Enable USB Debugging From Settings>Developers Option> USB Debugging.

• Enable OEM Unlock From Settings>Developers Option> Tick On OEM Unlock.

• Extract Android M Unlock tool to Desktop.

• Install Lenovo USB Drivers to PC.

• Connect your device via USB.

• Open Android M Unlock tool & Run .Batch File.

• That's it After few sec the .batch program will automatically unlock your bootloader & Factory reset your device.

• You've successfully Unlock Bootloader.

Step 2:- TWRP Recovery Installtion

• Extract TWRP recovery to desktop.

• Install ADB Drivers on your PC.

• Connect your device via USB Cable.

• TWRP recovery Folder you will find Two files.

1 :- Flash-TWRP.bat ( For permanent access )

2:- Run TWRP.bat (for a one-time launch of TWRP)

• Chose which type you want and Run the .bat program to flash recovery in your device.

• After completion of process your device will reboot.

• That's it You've successfully installed recovery.

• For boot into recovery Hold & Press ( Power + Vol Up or Down )

• Select English language or your preferable language.

Features of TWRP Recovery :-

- Built on the basis of its own custom kernel.

- Full SELinux support.

- Support for exfat, ntfs file systems for removable drives (MicroSD and USB stick)

- Mounting internal memory and SDcard to a PC in MTP mode

- Ability to select FS (ext2, ext3, ext4, exfat, fat32) for the formatted partition.

- Taking screenshots by clamping power + volume down (saved / sdcard / Pictures / Screenshots)

- Support of OTA is disabled (only FullOTA will be installed)

- Full ADB functionality - Adb Backup function is available.

- Operation of the battery charge (on some devices, the charge level display may disappear)

- Added the ability to install img files

Step 3 :- Getting Root Access.

• Boot into TWRP Recovery.

• Go to Install.

• Locate SuperSu.zip which you've copied on internal storage.

• Flash it using TWRP recovery.

• That's it.......! You've Finally Rooted your K6 Power.
